Taiwan Wild Coast was founded by Brent, a lifelong surfer from Santa Cruz, California.

Brent began surfing at twelve at Cowell Beach. Taiwan later became part of his life through his partner, who was born there. After five separate trips, he began to understand how much of the East Coast remains invisible to a first-time visitor.

Each trip revealed another break, road, restaurant, river, hot spring, or coastal community.

Taiwan Wild Coast brings those discoveries into one personally hosted seven-day journey.

Brent’s role is not simply to deliver an itinerary. He is there to make sure guests feel safe, included, challenged, and well looked after while experiencing Taiwan in a way that would be difficult to arrange alone.
